About Cam & Peg
Peggy & Cameron met during their time at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where they both worked as writing tutors at IU’s Writing Tutorial Services. They started dating around Peggy’s birthday in April of 2005 after Peggy made a joke about the internet and Chaucher, and Cameron sprang for a $4 pitcher of PBR. It’s been love ever since. They both graduated that year and moved to Indianapolis, where they still live.
Cameron continued to work with his father on custom cabinetry and woodworking projects, as well as starting his own line of video game themed housewares on the side. He sells his warez online through ThinkGeek.com and at etsy.com, as well as blogging about his work at his website, 1337motif.com. He has also worked part-time for the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library Foundation as both a grant writer and Communications Coordinator for the last two years. Previously, he did some freelance work for NPower and other non-profit organizations in the Indianapolis area.
Peggy is currently starting her first year as the Director of Instruction at Irvington Preparatory Academy, a charter high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. Before becoming IPA’s DoI, Peggy worked for a year in food service while she completed her teaching license and for the last four years has been teaching Language Arts at Irvington Preparatory Academy (formerly Irvington Community High School) on the near east side of Indianapolis.
Peggy and Cameron are registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate and Barrel, and Target.
